How to download a CPT within the Offline CPT app to use it offline

Upon opening the app for the first time, you will need to sign in and be connected to the Internet. Successful log in to the app will be possible only with a valid teacher account.

You will be asked for your username and password, which are the same as the credentials you use to access the online Classroom Presentation Tool through your web browser at

After login, you will land on the dashboard with a view of all the titles available for your school, which are represented by tiles. After clicking on the title you want, you will be able to see its Classroom Presentation Tool and eBooks:

Before you begin the download, you will need to have a reliable high speed internet connection that can support the download of large files. The installation files for the Classroom Presentation Tool tend to range from 2-4 GB and can be as large as 8 GB.

NOTE: These best practices will improve your success downloading large files:

  • Use a wired internet connection when available instead of a wireless connection
  • Download during off peak hours
  • Pause other streaming services and game activities if your network shares bandwidth
  • Make sure your preferred browser has been updated to the latest version

To start the download, click on the Classroom Presentation Tool download icon: .

After clicking on the download icon, you will see a popup message to confirm you want to download the CPT and the CPT file size. If you want to proceed, click on Download.

Once the whole CPT is downloaded you are able to open the CPT in the app, without internet connection.

The process to download an eBook is exactly the same as the CPT process.
