Using Your English in Action CPT
The toolbar at the bottom of the application contains the page backward and forward buttons and tools you can use in your presentation.
Return to the Main Menu.
Return to the Unit Menu.
Go Back to the previous task.
Go to the Next task.
Show/Hide Text that is relevant to a task.
Check All – Display or hide all answers to a task.
Reset a task.
Show / Hide Audioscript for a task.
Play audio relevant to a task.
Pause audio relevant to a task.
Stop audio relevant to a task.
The Notes tool indicates whether you have created customizations created for a page.
The Mouse tool is used to exit an annotation tool and regain control of the main application tools or the functions within each task.
The Pen tool can be used to annotate a page. You can customize the line color and line thickness.
The Highlighter tool can be used to annotate a page. You can customize the line color and line thickness.
The Text Box tool can be used to annotate a page. To move the text box, click and drag the bar on top of the text. You can customize text color, background color, font size, and more.
The Eraser tool can be used to remove annotations from a page.
Undo or Redo an action.
The Zoom tool can be used to zoom into the center of the screen, zoom out of the center of the screen, select a specific area to zoom into by clicking and dragging, or to cancel a zoom.
The Hide / Show Part of the Screen tools can be used to either hide part of a screen or block all the screen, allowing only a partial view.
Clear Annotations from the current page (to undo this, simply click the undo button).
The Customize Page tool creates a new page within a task for annotation.
Select to Print current display.
Save Customizations / Annotations on a screen.
Open Customizations / Annotations that have previously been saved.
Content Creation Tool
The Content Creation tool allows you to create your own tasks to use alongside the provided ones. These tasks are stored in the program and easily accessible.
This button has two major functions:
- Extra Tasks: access tasks you have already written
- Add Tasks: open up the authoring interface to create a new task.
Click on the CCT button to access the submenu.
Select create a new task, then choose from the available task types:
You can customize features such as scoring, sounds, or randomize the order of questions within the task. This differs for each activity type.
